Mirrors redirect a beam in a single direction, while prisms split or reroute light into multiple color paths. Some levels require every target to be lit with the correct color before the puzzle is considered solved.

Yes. Completed levels can be replayed so you can improve your solution, experiment with different routes, or revisit earlier mechanics at any time.

Open the Settings screen in Refract. Music, sound effects, and haptics can each be toggled independently so you can tune the feel of the game to your preference.

Yes. Refract includes color blind palettes for Deuteranopia, Protanopia, and Tritanopia, plus an optional symbol overlay so beams are readable by shape as well as color.

Refract supports Game Center achievements for stars earned, puzzles solved, login streaks, and hint-free clears. Leaderboards track total stars and login streak globally when you are signed into Game Center.

Make sure you are signed into Game Center in iOS Settings and that you have an internet connection available. Core puzzle progress remains on-device, but Game Center features need Apple's service to sync achievements and leaderboard data.

Core gameplay and local progress do not require an internet connection. Game Center achievements, leaderboards, and profile sync use Apple's services and may need internet access to update.

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget. Search for Refract and choose the daily challenge widget. Tapping it will deep link you straight into today's challenge.

Refract stores progress locally on your device. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device without restoring from a full iOS backup, previous progress may not be recoverable.
